Babies

In our baby room we focus on the initial development of the youngest children in our care

Education and socialising starts from day one.

We believe that the best relationships are built on good communication and we do our best to ensure that you are involved in the time your child spends with us by providing feedback on the day as well as at parents’ events.

Babies are encouraged to explore their senses through a plethora of messy and sensory activities.

Sand and water, textured play, and a variety of interactive manual and electronic toys make up our diverse range of activities on offer.

We promote language development through music, stories and rhymes and also with an introduction to sign language. Research suggests that signing seems to positively encourage speech development, so we introduce Makaton, a system of sign language, to babies at an early age and this continues through the nursery.
